The Small Works Gallery is Var Gallery’s esteemed collection of more than 1,000 small artworks sized at 6 x 6 inches and under.  The gallery was established in 2022 responding to the popularity of Var Gallery's annual 30 x 30 x 30 exhibition, and today hosts open calls for regular spotlight thematic features. The collection rotates featured artists and often includes Var Studios resident artists, artists that have previously participated in 30 x 30 x 30 annual exhibition, as well as both local and out-of-state artists. The lofted gallery located at Var Gallery’s 2nd Street location in the  Walker’s Point neighborhood offers the opportunity for the general public to collect affordable works from many of their favorite artists year-round.
